I like to go to our schools union and just chill, watch people, and see who's listening to itunes on the network

I drive around (or rather, I get someone else to drive me) looking for unprotected wireless networks using iStumbler (http://www.istumbler.net/)

If you were in the US, I would say to go Panera bread; good food and FREE wireless internet access.

Caveat about Panera-- not every one has WiFi.

There's a Panera literally walking distance from my house and they don't have WiFi. I have to drive a couple of miles... :-)

Use this link to see if your local one has it.

I can't wait for the day that there are so many free WiFi spots that places like Starbucks (T-Mobile, actually) have to stop charging for access.

Also, for those of you in the Chicago area, the center court of Woodfield Mall is a giant free hotspot. You just need to get the passcode from the Comcast booth. :-)
