Microsoft dominance poses security risk
September 24, 2003 - 11:47 EDT The Computer and Communications Industry Association plans to release a report on Wednesday arguing that reliance on a single technology such as the Windows operating system for such an overwhelming majority of computer systems threatens the security of the US economy and national infrastructure, reports CNET News.com.

My Comments: This is going to be really interesting to see where this goes...

This is what us IT Professionals have been saying for a while now. M$ have not really worried about security until late. Unix was not secure when it was first created, but it is getting better every day. M$ windows on the other hand, well I don't know...

Windows gets a daily security hole patch that opens more holes that you could park a semi in sideways...

Okay, Okay, does M$ know what security is. I think if they were to take the time to resolve the security problems, like they do with licensing M$ should have a better product.
