Hey all! Just curious to see what shoes you all use during exercise. Personally, I like the Vibram Five Fingers classic: Vibram Five Fingers: Discover the Barefooting Alternative for my running and outdoor martial arts training (Kuk Sool Won if anyone is interested) and use my old pair of Nike shocks for speedwork and some parkour movements (Good for martial artists). It's always fun to see what people use. My exercise shoes are like old friends. Trusty and reliable. Post your thoughts!

Etnies...the old ratty pair that are falling apart.

I need something better though. But I also need to buy a pair of shoes for my bike.

Asics. Though mine are a little heavy, its much better than any Adidas or Nike.

I just take whatever I see at the moment
btw, couldn't live with those five finger shoes, they probably are good for martial arts, but still, barefooted is the way to go

I use to run with Nike Shox before someone stole them. I found these shoes to be more than comfortable when running as well as working out. It is kinda of a shame that I dont have them anymore.

Not at all, I'd run that way if it weren't for the 400º surfaces around here

But I'm a forefoot striker, so shoes aren't much of an issue for me anyway

New Balance and Adidas. Although in recent years, Adidas running shoes have been hard to find in my neck of the woods. New Balance are typically very comfortable and well made. They don't fall apart like Nike.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

before i seriously started running, i used what ever cheap running shoes i could find. when i started running seriously with the Nike +, i had a pair of Nike + shoes. after 100 miles, i had some serious shin splints. i bought a cheap pair of Asics and have never looked back. i put 500 miles on the first pair and i have about 250 miles on the current pair.
