(hopefully this is in the right category)

Hey everyone,

I'm working on a class project where I'm trying to show the history of iPod advertisements.

I wanted to show the evolution of the ads over the years, and I was just wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to download all the old ads? I used to have most of them on my computer but alas, she crashed.

I know a site called macTV or something used to have them but it seems to have disapeared.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!

The only problem with going with youtube is the quality is quite low... I mean its a last resort obviously, but I was hoping someone might still have the originals that were posted on apples site.

You could try searching in the itunes store. There is a podcast called iZIKS Mac Ad's, but I cannot get them to download maybe you'll have better luck.

The site that I found through some research has a ton of movies, mostly Apple related. You can visit the site at
Some Cool QuickTime Movies

If you want to download it, the easiest way that I found (in Safari), was from that website (not while watching the movie) was to hold the option key then click on the link to the movie, and it sends it directly to your downloads.

Good luck!

The reason why you can't download the video podcasts from iZIKS Mac Ad's is because iTunes can't find it on the server anymore, so maybe this was a disconnect between them. I tried that as well.
