Apple II games : SWASHBUCKLER and AZTEC

I'm seeking informations about Paul STEPHENSON, the genius who made SWASHBUCKLER and AZTEC. These two games were really astonishing for the time (1982). But Paul Stephenson seems to have disappeared... There are thousands of pages about Jordan Mechner, Sid Meier, but nothing about him. Could u help me ? Thank you.
