I'm relearning german.. and since I can't very well climb into a forum of native german speakers so well yet, I gota remaster this language any other way I can. So who ever speaks german, or is taking it in HS or college, or wants to learn, I invite you to speak only german here (or mostly), and help me out so when I go to germany this summer I wont be a fish outa water under a burning sun .

FreeTranslation is a nice cheat site, ill try to avoid it as much as possible, as I want to figure it out myself..

but also if I make a mistake (thats not just a type-o) correct me! grammatik

Mir geht's ganz gut, und Ihnen? Vor 4 Jahren spreche ich Deutsch. Seitdem ich mein Deutsch zu vergessen beginne. Ich lerne alle deutschen Dinge, die ich lernen kann, wie Kultur, Sprache, das Land, usw. Wenn wir besser Deutsch sprechen können, werde ich gerne mit Ihnen plaudern.

If you meant that you learned German 6 years ago, it's:
Ich habe vor sechs Jahren Deutsch gelernt.

If you meant that you're learning German since 6 years, it's:
Ich lerne Deutsch seit sechs Jahren.

Deutsche Sprache, schwere Sprache... (German language, difficult language...) :cool:
