Favorite Led Zeppelin Song & Member?I'm pretty sure there's enough people here that like Led Zeppelin or are old enough to remember their songs. Which one is your favorite, and if you want you can explain why. Also, who is your favorite member?

The song I am afraid is tied for 2 of them... Although my top 10 Zep songs would all be first hahaha..

alrighty!
i really don't know if i can answer the member question. it's just so tied together with all the members.
favorite song: since i've been loving you
others - i'll keep it to ten:
when the levee breaks
friends
no quarter
ten years gone
the ocean
the rain song
going to california
thank you
bron-yr-aur (the physical graffiti guitar solo, not bron yr aur stomp)
whole lotta love (probably my favorite of the classic led zep rock riffs - black dog, heartbreaker, rock n roll, communication breakdown, immigrant song, etc)
favorite album: III
just so odd when taken in consideration of all the others, has some stellar writing and a great traditional blues cover of "gallows pole".Please participate in our Member of the Month polls. Every vote counts! And remember to use the user reputation system!

I am with Eric, hard to pick a favorite member, but since I am a guitarist I will say Jimmy Page.
I also love Since I've Been Loving You but also love the whole 1st Album.

i do not think Led Zeppelin would have made it with out John Paul Jones's powerful bass line. and my favorite song is Kashmir. i know that it does not feature JPJ, but it is a great musical piece.

Bonham, because.... he's was a drummer, I'm a drummer - go figure! He was truly awesome though.

Favorite Zep member is, no surprise, Bonham. Best rock drummer ever, best drum sound, hands down. Favorite tune: Ten Years Gone. Beautiful song, one of their forgotten masterpieces, IMO.

I had to go with Bonham. His unusual style never was duplicated by anyone else.
Favorite song was off the very first album (self titled) called: Good Times Bad Times. That song alone explains my choice of players.

Favorite song hands down is Tangerine. I would pay big money to see them live if they were still touring (of course Bonham's son playing drums)
I like all four members equally because they all understood their roles in the band and that is what made them so successful.
