I'm not sure how guns fit into a Mac-Forum, but if you're going to talk about it, keep it to this thread

If you need more variety, a gun forum may be more appropriate.

Ok let me spell it out more clearly since you're having difficulty.

This is a Mac forum, for Apple enthusiasts. We have this forum here for social and other topics. But, that doesn't meant we need to allow anything to be posted in any way.

Guns are a divisive topic. We don't need multiple gun threads given the divisive nature and the fact it really only is applicable to a small number of members.

So sure you can continue to argue with me about it, but ultimately that's probably a bad idea and isn't going to be very productive for you.

Scope creep. They just kept passing progressively stricter laws until the guns were all gone. Well, not all gone... the government and wealthy people's bodyguards can still have them. It's easier to disarm, silence or tax a populace if you phase it in over time. People will accept over time what would be inconceivable in one fell swoop.

two police officers were stabbed in my area near Uni two months ago. the guy had skipped bail, and was on the bus. they were just routinely checking bus tickets, and the guy couldn't produce a ticket, so they asked for I.D.

so he stabbed the first in the neck and the second somewhere else, and ran off.

imagine if he had an M4 or an AUG.

hunters, security guards and armed police have guns.

Im glad there are far less guns over here: in my eyes they are not a toy or hobby; merely a tool to protect people in certain situations.

however i am not "anti - gun". If those police on the bus had weapons, that guy wouldn't have made it off the bus.

I have a pea shooter, does that count? I don't need a CCP plus I don't C it.

Imagine if they would arm the bears in the woods...

I have my gun license but never owned a gun and probably never will, I live in Canada. Gun license is for work, dealing-handling real guns, blank guns, replicas all for showbizzzzz. Ever since Bruce Lee's son died while shooting that movie "Raven" I think it was called.
