10:00AM:

-Smiles at new 1GHz TiBook after turning it on. (The happy apple always makes me smile.)

10:15AM:
-Checks emails, decides to install Leopard.

10:25AM:
-Smiles at other 1GHz TiBook after turning it on.

10:25AM:
-Notices screen is not working at all.

10:26AM:
-Reboots TiBook, screen still not working.

10:27AM:
-Has cigarette.

10:30AM:
-Turns on MacBook to trouble shoot "injured" TiBook.

10:40AM:
-Gives up on MacBook as it wants to keep holding down the Up arrow key even though there's nothing underneath it. I can't wait to get refunded for that.

10:42AM:
-Has cigarette

10:45AM:
-Takes back cover off of injured TiBook to see if cables are loose

10:46AM:
-Slices thumb wide open on case of TiBook. Gives up on looking to see if cables are loose.

10:47AM:
-Screams expletives in Italian, has cigarette.

10:50AM:
-Calls paypal to file claim about TiBook with thumb wrapped in gauze.

11:00AM:
-Has cigarette

11:15AM:
-Has cigarette

11:30AM:
-Other TiBook has finished installing leopard.

11:45AM:
-Watches Beavis and Butthead on TiBook with blood soaked gauze wrapped around thumb.

11:48AM:
-Screen shuts off on TiBook.

11:49AM:
-Has cigarette.

11:55AM:
-Takes back panel off to see if any cables are loose.
-Finds video connector loose.
-Reattaches connector.

11:56AM:
-Notices one of the video connector's wires has been severed.
-Has hard time disconnecting video connector.

11:57AM:
-Gouges right index finger wide open with video connector plug after finally getting the video connector loose.

12:05PM:
-Putts blood soaked TiBook back together and calls paypal to file claim.
-Has cigarette

3:00PM:
-Attempts to separate screen housing on 400MHz TiBook

4:05PM:
-Deeply slices left index, middle and ring finger on sharp edge of TiBook screen.

4:05PM:
-Maniacally laughs

4:15PM:
-Still maniacally laughing, covered in blood.
-Has blood-soaked cigarette.

6:00PM:
-Has cigarette while glaring at 3 TiBooks sitting on desk while both hands are now severely bandaged up.



....And I thought this was going to be such a good day...

You can't use "Mechanix" gloves while doing intricate work. Trust me, I'm a Jaguar mechanic...I know this stuff...




Anyways, I wonder what I would do with these two powerbooks if I wasn't going to get my money refunded? I think they'd make some sweet junkyard warriors...
Like one of them could be a privacy writing tablet/cupholder and the other a can opener...
