I worked the booths at my school today, and I voted. I could have just cut in line, but I got to my shift early so I decided to wait in line. One of the best experiences ever, I am totally impressed by how many people are voting. I stood in line for 20 minutes and I got there early. There were times in which the line was an hour long. From teachers voting to students, to just other voters. Over all a great experience.

I voted last Thursday to avoid having to stand in line for hours -- only waited about 10 minutes. The main reason I voted at all was to vote against a school bond(age) for a new football stadium. I don't think too much of politicians in general, they're all crooks and liars but I particularly don't care for either of this years' presidential candidates.

Went after class around noon. In and out in just a few minutes. First time voting in California, and lemme say, there were a million more things to vote for than I had to back home in NJ. There were a bunch of positions people were running for and of course the infamous propositions. Can't wait for the first round of results

I voted via the mail about a month ago, so I'd say that the wait was zero minutes long.

Kash, what did you think of Proposition 10? I have quite a bit invested in that company

One last push!

I just don't get how you all have to que for so long, over hear voting is usually held at a local school, and I have never had to que to vote, and the polling station is only 5-8 minutes walk away, so I know I can just wonder out after work, cast my vote and be home in 20 minutes
Well I live in the state of Mississippi, and it is roughly 125,443 km² (48,434 sq mi) about half the size of the entire UK. Here it is very difficult to walk anywhere. Not only are there very few side walks but the distances between any 2 locations are pretty large. Now my city did a pretty good job of distributing polling locations but others did not. It took me about an hour and a half to drive to my polling location (about 13 miles away) because traffic was in gridlock. Now once I got in it only took about 3 minutes to vote because there was almost no line inside.
