when theres a lot of pressure on the PBs, the keys leave an impression on the screen, which is a $600 not covered by AppleCare. if you got an in-store warranty from an authorized dealer, you might get lucky and get a replacement. blame it on the salesman somehow, that seems to work.

Thats why I use my marware keyboard cover when I close the screen.

My PowerBook still looks in in great condition....but I will have my iMac G5 soon so that will be the new toy

wow, i baby my iBook - i wish i could afford a PB 15" but nope. then again I wouldn't use a PB to its fullest so it would be kinda a waste but hey, send it to me!!!!!!

Unlike other people I do have a japanese screen protector self-adhesive type, not that rubbish that ohp stuff that macally sells.
