So I know I've barely been here lately, but I just turned 21 and I just had my first (legal) drink, and I thought I'd share this historic moment with you all. I had a (Gin) Martini made with Bombay Sapphire gin and Martini & Rossi vermouth and, of course, a Mezzetta's Martini olive. I'm probably the only college student who can say that.

Hey now, don't overgeneralize about college students and their taste of cocktails...
I prefer my martinis with Gordon's, white vermouth, and a splash of scotch (generally referred to as the "Silver Bullet"). Definitely garnish with an olive and try to get a decent amount of the juice in there (I love a good old dirty martini). My favorite alcohol based beverage would definitely be a low sodium V8 based Bloody Mary, chock full of asparagus, celery, olives, and perhaps a carrot. Most places won't make this for you however, they'll just dump some mix and vodka into a glass and call it a day ![]() Congratulations though! The trick now is to figure out how to stop aging

I saw Dark Knight last night. Very cool.
It was really cool to see a lot what I see everyday in a big movie. I saw saw them setup for shoots last year. I wish I was on set when the blew up the Hospital which was an abandoned candy factory and when they flipped over the semi on LaSalle or Dearborn. Those would have been fun shoots. I loved that shot where the Joker is walking down the street outside the hospital in the nurses uniform. January 2008 Member of the Month |

Ugh. Girlfriend quit her job today, so now I'm the only employed one.
I mean, she has money saved up, but it's still nervewracking. I told her to find a new job before she quit, but apparently her boss is your typical dirty old man, so her and two other waitresses walked out in the middle of the dinner rush. I don't know why I'm so worried about it and she's completely unbothered, but, meh, what can ya do?
