I was wondering about this Geek/nerd thing.

1. Is there a difference ?
2. What is it ?
3. Which are you?

3)I slept with my MBA the day i got it and already my friends call me an apple fanboy.

I would call myself a geek though.

1) yes.

2a) geek: someone who bites the heads off of chickens for others' amusement - also someone who has an above average focus on something not quite mainstream (music geek, computer geek, star wars geek, etc)

2b) nerd: someone extremely smart, typically not very "normal" in social terms.

3) geek (music, car, video game mostly)

As eric pointed out, a geek is somebody who is simply really knowledgeable about certain things, whereas a nerd is the stereotypical dork with dark rimmed glasses and a pocket protector (i.e. Steve Urkel).

I would definitely call myself a geek on various subjects.

the only day i'll sleep with an MBA is if my girlfriend gets her masters in business administration.
