Well back in the day, that was the standard "good" looking sites, especially in 1997 when internet started to become more standard. But really a big jump in style from 1997 to 1999 as the development in web design evolved.

I would give anything for it to be 1998 again, just so I could be around when the clamshell iBook was cutting edge.

I love that darn thing.

Now I need to find one and purchase it.

I blame this on you, Grey Duck.

Haha... I just made the connection. You agree with me though... it is that

When you get it post purty pics of it next to a new MB or MBP and compare! Will be cool to see Grandpa/Grandchild in a family portrait.

LOL! Me too!! I would just be starting college without any responsibility. Well, I guess since I'm back in college full time it's kinda the same, but being a grad student is a whole different can of worms! That, and I'm almost done again with a job prospect!

Man, those were some sweet machines. With sweet prices.

iMac starting at $799
iBook starting at $999
PowerMac G4 - $1599
PowerMac G4 Cube - Also $1599

Though the PowerBook G3 seems a little steep (unless it's the top configuraton) at $2499

I wasn't even in kindergarten in '97 and I didn't really start getting into computers until about fourth, and Macs about sixth, so me neither lol.

I do miss the sub-$2000 low-end towers. Not a lot of power, but they had room to grow.
