so i just bought this fan from radio shack:
i was assuming it would have a cord and standard plug at the end. of course all it had was two thin-ish black wires about 6" long poking out of it with bare ends.
if i crimp a standard cord/plug - like the male end and a few feet of cord from an extension cord - on to those two wires will it work or am i just going to trip a circuit breaker (or worse).
the fan is 115VAC 60Hz 20W and it does say "impedance protected".Please participate in our Member of the Month polls. Every vote counts! And remember to use the user reputation system!
