.vmx file (Fusion) is corrupt!

Ugh!!!,

My vmx file has zero bytes. Is it possible to create or copy a generic .vmx file and use that to boot up or am I completely hosed?

did you try Fusion Help?

Didn't find it in their Knowledge Base and they charge for support.

can I get a bit of history on this problem? I've never heard of this.

I was using a program in Windows XP on my Mac an the program hung. I had to reboot my Mac without suspending VMWare. I deleted my vmss file but that didn't do the trick and now I noticed that my vmx file has zero bytes.
