is windows xp via parallels supposed to be blurry? for instance if im watching a movie on windows should it look a lot worse than watching it from my mac? if not does anyone know what i can do to make the picture sharper? thanks

Windows via Parallels should look exactly like it would on any other computer, so if it's blurry, that's not normal.

Did you install the Parallels Tools after you finished installing Windows? If not, then go ahead and do that (I think you can find it in one of the menu bar drop down options).

I have XP installed via parallels and it's fine, check for any updates that maybe out or try to reinstall it after you checked the parallels tools.
