I went with XP on my Bootcamp/Parallels installation. I seems to be better supported by Parallels, is arguably more stable, I don't play many 3D intensive games, and Vista doesn't do anything my Leopard install (or XP) won't already do for me. I'll probably upgrade to Vista when they stop supporting XP or when I run into something I need to do that I can't already do. That's just me though and I'm sure others will chime in too.

Try searching Intel's website for an updated Vista driver for the graphics card you have on your system. Wouldn't be the first time that fixed an issue like this. I'm assuming you are using a MAcBook or Mini with integrated Intel graphics. If not, try doing the same for you NVIDEA or whatever graphics you are running.

Seriously, if you absolutely HAVE to run Windows then I'd go with XP. |

I agree with the rest. XP is the way to go if you need Windows to run a few applications. Vista is not needed at all at this point in time.

When I got a new PC laptop for Mrs riscy, I asked the guy in the shop to remove the pre-installed Vista and put Windowze XP, SP 2 on it. He knew why and agreed with me
