In bootcamp any time i try to partition, after a while it says

verification failed. This disk could not be partitioned
Use Disk Utility to repair this disk.

Then in disk utilty, it says HFS volume needs repair, but it wont repair it

Disk Utility stopped verifying “Macintosh HD” because the following error was encountered:

The underlying task reported failure on exit

WHAT I DO, ALL I WHAT IS BOOTCAMP!!

cheers

I had a similar error when I went to go bootcamp. You can't repair your disk if the computer is running OS X off of it; you have to boot from your OS X disk 1 and then run disk utility on it there. You must have clicked "repair permissions" which is quite different from "repair disk." Good luck!

Reboot the Mac with the OSX CD in the drive and hold C while it starts so it will boot from the install disc. Then you can run Disk Utility form the Tolls mnue and check the hard disk.

I judge you when you use poor grammar.
