bootcamp works great on a MacBook Pro
try to be a little more clear in your next post (you mentioned Macbook Pro, MacPro, and Macbook all in your post) it will be fine; the only side affect it has on the osx side (if that is what you are asking) is reduced hard drive space - it will not reduce the speed of your computer Welcome to the Forums!!
