    The Command Console
I use the command prompt in windows quite a few times to use features like ipconfig, telnet, netstat etc...

What sort of things would or can you use the command prompt for in OSX? Im sure you can do a million and one things, but what usefull things can you do with it than you cant with the front end? Why do you use the command console and what for?
