Parallels problem

Ive tried it a billion diff ways and im close to giving up, ive got everything set as the instructions say, but whenever i hit "play" to start up the virtual machine the computer goes into lockdown and tells me i have to restart the computer. Help please?

A little more information would be a help...

First what computer are you installing Parallels on? How much ram?

Second what version of Parallels are you using?

What version of Windows are you using?

Quick question, have you installed Windows yet? If you just installed Parallels and hit Play, it's not going to work.

If you haven't installed it yet, run through the setup wizard to start the Windows installation.
