Hey all! I'm a recent mac convert. For the most part I've been enjoying my mac very much and I'm very glad I made the switch. However I was thinking of installing XP on my mac because I'd rather do work on a desktop as opposed to the company notebook. I must say however that I'm still a little apprehensive about installing XP on my mac given Windows tendency to infestation. I was just wondering what your experiences have been like and are there any tips you may have. I guess the most annoying thing about Windows was the spyware. It seemed to me that no matter how many times you cleaned within a few days you were back to finding stuff once you ran a spyware check.

Once you get Spyware, it's a pain in the *** to properly clean... But if you start with a clean Windows install, keep the system up to date with the latest patches, have good AV software installed that also checks for Spyware, and use safe browsing habits (use an alternative browser, download only from trusted sources, etc...) then you should be fine.
QUOTE Thanks
