Hey guys,

Today I installed Parallels build 3188 and My WinXP w/ SP2, just to use MS Money 2007.

It's working amazingly, except for just one detail.

I can't use it in coherence mode!!

It works as a guest OS window, and in full screen.

But I can click all night long in the coherence mode icon, and nothing happens.

Any idea of what's going on??

I still wasn't able to drag and drop files from my OS desktop to my Win desktop. Have I missed anything??

PS: I'm running Mac OSX on a brand new MBP C2D.

Did you install Parallels tools after the Windows install completed?

If you installed the Tools per cwa, have you tried all three methods of switching to Coherence?

(1) Click the appropriate icon in the VM configuration window (the one that looks like 4 windows popping out the screen)

(2) From the Parallels menu bar, choose View -> Coherence

(3) While Parallels is the active window, simultaneously press Shift+Control+Option

Thank you very much!! Both of you were dead right!

I didn't notice this "parallels tools" thing....now everything is working fine...coherence...and drag and drop!

I've just installed, so I have to explore all the possibilities I have with this new tool.

But so far I'm very impressed!!

Cool, glad to hear it worked out. Parallels Tools install extra drivers and software to help Windows run better on a virtual machine. Things like coherence mode are dependent on those drivers.
