POWERBOOK 1400 won't install ORINOCO Wireless drivers!!

I have an old POWERBOOK 1400. Freshly installed 8.6.
Trying to get the ORINOCO drivers to install correctly. Here they are: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/mo...&mode=feedback
Drivers run on 8.6 and 9.1
I am getting this error message when clicking the installer:
"The application installer could not be opened because "util lib" could not be found."
I installed CARBON LIB which was one suggestion to me.
Am I missing something here? Other folders seem to be ok, just the installer. I got this little gem for free and decided I'd tweak it, first with wireless and then with a 2gb flash card to load the OS. Perfect little poolside-garden-cafe-outdeoordeck INTERNET cafe like thing.........
