    YDL on G3
I just gor a beige G3 (300mhz) with OS 9.0 installed, I want to install ydl but it won't let me boot the cd. The cd will show up in OS 9 and I can browse it but when I choose it as the startup disk it will just boot into OS 9.

Find the ydl installer in the Mac window,It will take over and erase the
hard drive or create a linux partition..You need like a 10 gig drive.

You mean, boot in OS 9, open the YDL cd and then click the ydl installer ?

If Ydl will not boot when you hold down the C key,you will have to find
the Ydl installer and go from there, My version is 3.0.1 and theres 6 install dics.

Nevermind, i installed a 30 gig hard drive and installed OS X 10.2 on it.
Question i do have is about a PCI videocard, the integrated video is kinda flakie so i put in a ATI video card which has the Mac video connector and the regular VGA connector on it. If I hook up the monitor to the PCI card it don't work, do I need to do something ?

If the system did not find the card you will need a driver.Go to the makers web site or do a google. Sorry you did't do the Linux. Im not going to the Intel
macs,Im doing SUSE on a PC box.
