ok my version of xp only included service pack 1

now what i want to know can i install a slipstreamed xp pro cd with service pack 2 included ?

It will work just that you have to consider the worst as well as best scenario...Have you read this?

yes well after a fair bit of reading i found a program called nlite

that did the slipstreaming of the service pack 2 to the xppro install

the bizzare part was i had to use a dvd as the iso file it created was 977meg therefore would not burn to cd

anyways installed bootcamp made a mac drivers cd and then partitioned the mac drive to make a 40gig windows drive

the inserted xpslipstreamed dvd hit start installation and away it went

no dramas once xp installed put mac driver cd in and all good after that

how you ask i unplugged the external speakers

now 100% working
