Hi,

Has anyone managed to get a iMAC web cam working in windows xp via bootcamp?

It was about time I switched... and I am so glad I did.

Saw this and this and it looks like Apple might have a fix soon. Although with Apple you can never tell - they may wait until Leopard comes out! Guess one would have to watch the rumor sites.

Here's a thread discussing it

Ugh... again, the reason for my "READ THE MANUAL!!!" thread...

Apple clearly states that the iSight is NOT supported in Windows. Though, there may be fixes and opportunities in the future on how to get it up. But officially, so far, not supported. You'll get a BSOD.

the back of our computer looks better than the front of theirs

If you search the forums you will find some threads talking about leopard and then leave the rest to GOOGLE.

I read an article somewhere (wish I could remember) that someone was hosting a web contest to the first person to create a driver to use the iSight in WindowsXP. Guess some people aren't hopeful that Leopard will have a fix.

anyone know more about this?
