Ok so I've decided that I want to install Boot Camp on my MBP. I read about it on the Apple site but am still a little confused on what I need. I have a copy of Windows XP Home Edition that came with my parents Gateway PC. Im not sure if I can install this disk because on the front of the disk it says something like, "For use on Gateway PC ONLY". Is this true? What else do I need? Thanks a lot.

But i guess iRizzo you should give it a shot at trying the CD that your parents have. Make sure it is Service Pack 2. If it works you are going to save money. Quote:
