I am 2 weeks new in the "Mac world". I never had one before, I was just told how great they are.
Does anyone have any great advise on where to get cheap software?
I'm looking into getting Final Cut 4, Adobe Photoshop, and Apple works.

The only way to get Final Cut pro cheap, is throught Apple's education discount. If you are attending a school, you can get it for a little less than half price.

That's Right! I totally forgot about that... Yes, I am a student but forgot about the benefits... Do you have any Idea on the price of the students version? Is it exactly the same as the original? Thanks for your help rman...

By the way Graphite, Thanks for the info. I will check out the free software sites. I will also change the Avatar if it bothers you... I just followed the rules that was listed. Regular price of Final Cut Pro $999US. Whereas with the education discount $499US. This is for the full version. Upgrades are $399US.

If your not offended, can I keep it until someone complains? I use the same one on the Clie forum for years and no one said anything. Your call, you are the Moderator...
