i use msn messenger for Mac.

it is awful but it is ok for just typing and sending files accross.

i now use adium

I was using adium, then i started using mercury... now i've resorted to msn messenger for mac.

I'm still in search for the right program for me.

i wish they would make trillian for mac...but right now i just use ichat

I use iChat, works fine. I love the video option, which only gets used between me and my parents (Mac to Mac) not sure how it would work going cross platform, assumingly as well.

i use adium - it is really good but no video or voice chat function.
