hi, i recently purchased Windows for Mac, Home and Student Edition 2011, but Excel just will not open. Word,Powerpoint and the file sharing gadgets work but nothing happens when I click on the excel icon. I have tried restarting and opening through the drop down menu, but it is like it doesn't exist. No bouncing icon, nothing. Any ideas ??? cheers

Reinstall Office 2011. But first you'll need to remove the first install which probably did not install Excel correctly. Use the following instructions from Microsoft to remove Office 2011. Do not drag it to the Trash.
