Snow Leopard comes on a DVD. Recovery applies to Lion. Windows 7 only? if it turns you on yes.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

Is it a grey DVD or the white one with the Snow Leopard on it? See "What OS Disk Do I Need?" A Brief Overview for examples. The grey ones are machine-specific and do not necessarily transfer from one machine to another.

What happens when you try to boot from the DVD? D any error messages appear.

What Snow Leopard DVD is this? Is it the one that came with the MBP? Retail? Another Machine?

You can put Windows 7 all by itself on the MBP but to me that is a lot of $$$ going to waste just to run Windows. A Mac without OSX is to me not a Mac!

Copy of a copy of a copy..... All illegal. Sorry but we're through here as we do not give help or support for any illegal activity.
