Hi guys

I am in the process of moving from Windows to Mac and am having some issues:

Macbook Pro running OS X
Installed VMware Fusion 4 (tonight)
Enabled Sharing (file) and checked via options that the SMB box is ticked.
Started the migration wizard
Entered the 4 digit code
Got "vmware fusion was unable to share a folder to receive your migrated pc"

What the heck am I doing wrong? It's driving me nuts! Please help!

I haven't used Fusion 4 but unless it's very different from Fusion 3.X, I did not have to check off the SMB box in order to share folders between OS X and the VM.

But perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to do? Are you trying to migrate a PC as a virtual machine and install it on your Mac via Fusion 4? If that's what you're trying to do, I have to admit that as many times as I have tried doing the same thing, it never worked right.
