I've recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium on my iMac using Boot Camp and it runs great. However, I used a friend's Window 7 install disc and used his product key and because of this, I haven't "activated" it online because it might realize that the product key I entered is already being used.

So my question is, what will happen after my 30-Day trial of Windows 7 ends? I've read that Windows will shut down after 2 hours of use or so and that some features may not be available. Ugh, I'm just so hesitant to spend money on buying windows!

Well then that is what is known as piracy not thought much of here. Windows will not work after the 30 days. If you do not want to spend the money - simple. Do not install Windows!!

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

As Harry pointed out, we do not discuss any illegal activity in these forums. The best advice I can give you is to purchase your own copy of Windows 7 and use the product key that comes with it to activate. Or, remove the copy you're currently using and do without. Your copy is going to die in 30 days anyway.
