I have windows 7 installed on my bootcamp partition on my macbook pro 13. Decided to install vmware workstation and build a xp pro sp3 os. Did this ok with no problems and have connected my usb stick along with a few other devices with no luck. None are being recognised, nothing picked up in device manager, nothing at all. My usb drive connects fine to w7 and usb controller is defo present on my vm xp, also defo set up as administrator.

Did you install the VMWare tools in XP? Think you have to do this for each OS.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.
