Totally computer illiterate, so please bear with me.

I installed BootCamp and put Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro all without any problems. I then installed DC Universe Online but when I go to play it says "The video card settings on this machine are not compatible with DC Universe Online. Please check the minimum game requirements." Some other people (Anyone run this on new MacBook pro? - DC Universe Online Message Board for PC - GameFAQs) are apparently running it fine on their Macbook Pros. My questions are: Can my Macbook Pro run this game? And if so, what's the problem I am encountering? Thanks in advance.

Other info:
I bought my MBP around July 2010.
I put my Snow Leopard disk in after installing Windows.
I updated BootCamp to v3.1.

Mac OS X
Version 10.6.6
Processor: 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Model Identifier: MacbookPro6,2

The system requirements are as follows:

DC Universe Online

System Requirements* GD Hardware Rating Diff
Intel Processor - Core 2 Duo E6700 2.66GHz Login to compare your CPU

AMD Processor - Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5800+
Nvidia Graphics Card - GeForce 8800 GTX 768MB Login to compare your GFX Card

ATI Graphics Card - Radeon HD 3870

RAM (Memory) - 2 GB Check out our NEW Can I Run It

System Requirement Tool

Hard Disk Space - 30 GB

Direct X - 9

All I can advise you to do is compare your machine with their on line sys requirements and judge for yourself.

Well, I used some websites to compare and I guess the graphics card (GeForce GT 330M) isn't good enough to meet the minimum requirement of NVIDIA 7800+. But, as I said, I have no idea about these things, so can anyone confirm for me?

According to this site the GT 330 should run DC Universe online. DC Universe Online - Game Requirements

But I cannot personally confirm it either way - the fact that you get the error message, of course, suggests otherwise.

Good luck!
