Hi,

I just cannot autoupdate or update vista and there are two service packs which i require.

I have received varying error messages the latest being "80072EFD". This was received even though I had click off and let anything in apple security.

then I turned windows firewall off and apple firewall off and still nothing.

I do not have any antivirus.

cheers & thanks for any info

Hi,

Nitwithstanding the lack of response on this one.....it seems I had a some sort of a virus on both my mac and windows.

with regards to my mac - when in safari, opera, whatever i do a search, various results are pasted and i click on the result i want i go to facebook or somewhere of a porno type. if i clicked on it, cancelled that search and then clicked on where i wanted to go a second time i would go to where i wanted to go ---- seems this was some sort of malware or something - dns changing - i downloaded dnschange and malwarebytes and it fixed it.

Windows - was a bit different, i couldnt get on the net etc. vmware was too slow anyways i knew i had some sort of virus/malware so i deleted the lot. and have reloaded in boot camp.

cheers
QUOTE Thanks
