Ubuntu install via TDM?

Member Since: Jan 21, 2010 Posts: 98 Mac Specs: Power Mac G4 MDD 1.5 GHZ (OC) 1.25 GB Ubuntu and Leopard INTEL SUCK IT!!	03-20-2010, 10:47 PM My MDD has no CD drive, I have a USB one but it doesn't work for booting. I tried TDMing my iBook and using that cd drive, but the screen gets all messed up with a Linux style pointer, other way around results in successful boot but Ubuntu can't see firewire HDD? Is this a possible solution or not? If not, I also have a USB SATA enclosure I could install it on and try to boot from? Intel SUCKS!!! PPC Dominates PowerMac G4 MDD 1.5Ghz 1.25GB 10.5 AND Ubuntu 9.1 Powerbook G4 15" 1.5Ghz 768MB 10.5 Ibook G4 12" 1.33Ghz 768MB 10.4.11
