Hi everybody,

I have successfully installed windows 7 64x on my new 27" iMAC but there is one hick-up with Windows 7 running on my mac and I was hoping all of you out there might be able to help out.

In Windows 7, right before a security warning pop-up asking me if I wish to allow the download to alter my computer, the entire screen flashes black -- goes completely black for a second, and then is back to full resolution. Windows 7 is working great, but each time a pop-up security warning occurs cause I'm downloading something from the internet or installing an update I get a flash of black, and then back to the original screen where I can click "yes" and proceed with the download. I can't imagine this being terribly good for the screen?

Any thoughts???

John

I turned off UAC.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Whole heartedly agree! MS still hasn't got UAC correct. They need to take some lessons from OS X or Linux.

BTW, it took me about 15 minutes using Win 7 before I turned it off.

Regards.
