I had installed a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium into my MBP via Bootcamp a little bit ago. I uninstalled the partition so I could try parallels. Now when ever I turn on my mac or restart it, I am brought to a black screen with white writing saying: No boot disk inserted! Please insert a boot disk then press any key to continue. I then must do a manual shutdown, hold option and click on the Mac Drive. (The only drive there.)

MacBook Pro 13", iPhone 3GS, iPod Nano 4G

It sounds like the system is trying to boot into Windows by default. Try this:

Open SystemPreferences->StartupDisk

You should see the option there to start OSX by default and no longer boot windows.
