I have a question about networking Macs with a windows 2003. I am currently remoting into the server to work on our database program. Could this be done with VMware and work effectively? or would a server that allows more remotes be advisable? We're quickly becoming a Mac staff but like our existing database program. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

VMWare would be used to run Windows on your Mac. Remote Desktop would be used to connect to an existing Windows server. Two different products for two different purposes.

If you want to run the database software locally, then VMware or Parallels or VirtualBox are a good bet. If you'd rather take advantage of the server's resources, than just remotely connecting to it works too.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
