i recently bought an external hard drive (seagate, 500 GB)
if needed, i will post link
i have a 360 that only recognizes Fat32, and NFS+
fat32 doesnt allow files 4GB >
so fat32 is out of the question
this leaves me w/ NFS+

i used a program called "Macdrive7" to format it to NFS+

however, the drive doesnt work without the program Macdrive7

so if im ever at a friends house, id have to install macdrive7, which gets tedious

so i was wondering if i could somehow partition my drive into 2, 250 GB each?
one NTFS, and another HFS+

so i can use NTFS for files at friends house
and NFS+ for my xbox 360

any help?
thanks

Yes, you can do that. Use the Disk Utility in Mac OS to split the drive into two partitions one NFS and the second MSDOS (FAT32). And format them.

Now, boot into windows and then convert the FAT32 partition into NTFS:
convert x: /FS:NTFS (where x: is the drive in My Computer that points to your external drive).
QUOTE Thanks
