Ok...one of my coworkers is being nagged by her mother about an error on the computer.

This is going to be tricky, because of the answers to my questions:
- What operating system? "Dunno." Puma? Tiger? Leopard? "Oh...does it HAVE to have a cat in the name?" no.
- What was your mother running at the time? "Nothing. She just walked away, and a while later she went back to it and it has that message on it."
- Something had to be running. What program was up and running on the computer? "Oh...just Yahoo! on Safari."
- Is it an iMac? a laptop?? "Ancient in computer years. Just a box with a monitor, keyboard, and mouse."
- What color is it? "White."

So..I'm guessing it's a Mac that's before the original iMac...

Anyway...the error message that keeps popping up:

"Darwin/BSD (a-admin-emac) (console) LOGIN"

And before someone posts a "Google is your friend" response....uhh, no it's not. Got nothing.

Any ideas???

Safari = OS X

They probably aren't aware of the cat nicknames.

Also, sounds like it's an eMac. And it sounds like it's booting directly into the command line for some reason. It's hard to do by accident - the standard method is to hold down command-S during startup, I think. Not sure how to fix that... try restarting and holding down the option key.
