Hey guys,

I'm trying to get Left 4 dead to work trough parallels, and the game and the video seems to work alright... only problem is, it's completely purple. and I can't see text or anything.

I have a Mac tiger, 10.4.11, with 1.16 GHZ intel core 2 duo, 2.GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM (lots of technical stuff I don't understand, but might help others to help me with this problem)

And a screenshot of the problem..

Maybe you should try just booting into Windows instead. It usually works much better that way.

You won't be able to run it in virtualization with that low-speced machine.

You won't be able to run Left4Dead in virtualization, period. While Parallels has some limited support for 3D games, it's nowhere near powerful enough to run a game like Left4Dead.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
