I have a document that has a table in it. The table was copied from an Excel spreadsheet.

I reference in the narrative of this document numbers that appear in the table. I submit this document to my superior and he might change the numbers in the table. I would like to create a link within the narrative that automatically updates whenever the value in the table changes.

Can I do that? If so, how do I set it up?

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Matt

It probably could be done if you were using Office 2007 for Windows but unfortunately Microsoft left out VB macro ability in Office 2008.

You may be able to create a link using Apple Script and make it work. I'm unfamiliar with Apple Script but I'm sure there are others here or in the Apple forum who could help.

Regards.
