Yes. I would download and install a free antivirus such as AGV 8.0 and install within Windows.

But beware of AVG free if you're not a smart Internet user.
I had that one installed on my sisters PC and it caught a serious virus that become active a couple of days before. AVG, even up to date, didn't even noticed it. Ended up formatting the machine. No, Windows won't be doing anything if you are not running it under boot camp. Even in a VM, it won't access the internet unless the VM is "running," as opposed to shut down or suspended.
And, whether under Boot Camp or a virtual machine, Windows is susceptible to viruses so you definitely need the antivirus software of your choice. However, the Mac side of the house will be safe - you don't really need to worry about infecting your OSX volume as a general proposition. Cheers |
