some laptops have an overly sensitive touchpad. so what happens is your just sitting there typing along then all of a sudden your cursor jumps one line up or 4 words back overwritting what you already written and just making a mess of things. This plagues many dell laptops and also ive seen it on sony and asus laptops as well.
The fix is a free program called touchfreeze that works transparently in the background. you dont even know its running. this is the only fix that ive ever seen or heard of that actually fixes the problem. Im posting it here in case anyone else is having or had this problem. |
