parallels 3.0 freezing

windows xp is freezing quite a bit...i notice when i reduced the screen resolution this helps a little bit...

what should the screen rez be?

should i add more ram then the default of 512mb?

what to do to run windows more smoothly..

definately needs more ram than 512..
considering most come with 1-2GB 512 has just fallen behind.

personally all my computers have 2gb of ram.. and my mbp will have 4.

what do you mean by 512mb of ram. Do you only have that much ram inside your mac? if so then you just don't have enough ram to be able to run it smoothly

nope...sorry for being unclear...when i installed parallels...the default is 512mb of ram for the windows os allocation....i think i there is a option to bump that up...its virtual ram right?
