Partition size depends on what you'll be running in Windows. If you're a gamer you'll probably need more than the 5 Gb default as games tend to be very large. However, if you're just going to run several Windows apps such as MS Office 2007, 5 to 8 Gb would be OK. (XP SP2 Home full install will use around 2 Gb of space for its files and system.)
I created my Boot Camp partition as 8 Gb since that was all I needed for the apps I had which could not be replaced with an OS X version. No games. I also used FAT-32 in order to be able to R/W from OS X. Regards. |
